Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.
Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
Step into the role of Key Account Manager at Reckitt, where your mastery of relationship-building and strategic partnering with major national trade players will be fundamental in delivering health, hygiene, and nutrition products to consumers. In this dynamic position, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and realising joint business plans, balancing customer success with our own growth. Your responsibilities
- Acquisition, setup/manage of new B2B distributors/resellers and end customers
- Define, execute pricing strategy with different partners
- Upselling, cross selling into existing customers
- Revenue and profitability delivery
- Negotiate trading terms/renewals with customers, distributors
- Provide input on growth opportunities and portfolio needs with GBS Regional and Area team
- Customize distributor sales toolkits
- Train/coach distributor sales reps to effectively execute sales plan
- Business review with customers, collect and analyse sales data from customer, develop sales plan according to overall strategy
- Collaborate with local team for operational support, approvals and ideate new growth opportunities
The experience we're looking for
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or commerce
- 7 years+ of experience in B2B channel sales.
- Experience managing a network of distributors/resellers.
- Has a rich network of contacts in Malaysia B2B market
- Experience building up a new business would be a plus
- Strong communicator, and excellent negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Excel – intermediate skills working with large datasets. Comfortable using lookups & pivot tables for data analysis.
- Microsoft Power Point – comfortable creating & presenting updates, proposals & execution results.
- Language skills: Malay – Native fluency & English – Intermediate
- Entrepreneurial, fast learner, result oriented, solution-oriented and comfortable working in a lean organization.
