Sales

Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

The Business Planning Manager plays a critical role in enabling disciplined commercial decision-making and protecting business. This role acts as key gatekeeper for sales gross to net planning, trade investment management, and commercial performance cadence.

Your responsibilities

Trade Investment Management & Latest View
- Own end-to-end Trade Investment Latest View (LV) process across channels/customers
- Consolidate and challenge inputs from Sales and Finance
- Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Target vs LV) and highlight risks/opportunities
- Drive ROI and optimization of trade investment

 

Sales Forecasting & Latest View (LV)
- Lead consolidation of rolling sales forecasts across short- and mid-term horizons
- Integrate base sales, promotions, and initiatives into cohesive outlook
- Validate and challenge inputs for accuracy
- Identify risks and opportunities

 

Commercial Drumbeat & Planning Cadence
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning processes
- Define timelines, governance, and stakeholder inputs
- Deliver insights for business reviews

 

Performance Management & Reporting
- Track KPIs: Sales and Trade Investments vs Plan / Target / Past Year
- Provide clear visibility on business performance

 

Business Partnering
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams
- Support business scenario planning, simulations and investment trade-offs
- Analyze internal and external data sources (e.g., Nielsen/offtake data) to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities 
- Support Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives by providing data-driven insights on pricing, promotions, and trade investment effectiveness

 

Process, Tools & Data Management
- Own and improve planning templates
- Ensure data integrity and consistency
- Drive process efficiency and automation

The experience we're looking for

- 8-10 years in FMCG (commercial planning, RGM, or finance)
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of Nielsen & other analytical tools
- Strong business partnership & influence
- Understanding of RGM principles
