Data & Automation Lead

City:  Kuala Lumpur

We are Reckitt

Home to the world's best loved and trusted hygiene, health, and nutrition brands. Our purpose defines why we exist: to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world. We are a global team united by this purpose. Join us in our fight to make access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment a right and not a privilege.

About the role

The Data & Automation Lead builds and owns the intelligence layer that powers digital commerce decision-making across all six ASEAN markets. This role unifies performance data into one shared view, identifies where capability is working and where it is not, and drives agentic automation of operational workflows — freeing market teams to focus on execution rather than reporting.

Your responsibilities

Unified Analytics Layer

  • Designs, builds and maintains the unified digital commerce performance dashboard across all six markets
  • Defines the KPI framework — input metrics, output metrics and the relationship between them — adopted by all markets
  • Builds digital shelf scoring standards and tracks performance by market, category and platform
  • Develops content efficiency tracking — identifying which content formats are driving commercial outcomes and at what cost
  • Surfaces cross-market performance intelligence — what is working in one market that others should adopt
  • Publishes regular ASEAN performance benchmarks against which all markets are measured

Automation & Operating Model

  • Identifies high-frequency manual tasks across market teams and builds automated workflows to replace them
  • Develops and deploys agentic automation — starting with reporting, content efficiency flagging and campaign optimisation triggers
  • Builds the data integration layer — connecting eXplode, platform data sources, and market reporting into one unified pipeline
  • Partners with IT to ensure data infrastructure is accessible, secure and scalable across the region
  • Tests automation tools through proof-of-concept builds before rolling out to markets
  • Trains market teams on dashboard usage, data interpretation and automated workflow adoption

The experience we're looking for

  • 5+ years in analytics, data management or business intelligence — preferably in digital commerce or digital marketing
  • Proficient in Python — able to write scripts for data processing, automation and workflow operationalisation without reliance on a technical team
  • Strong proficiency in data visualisation tools — Power BI, Tableau or equivalent — and dashboard development from scratch
  • Active, practical user of AI tools — uses AI daily to simplify, automate and operationalise analytical and reporting work
  • Demonstrated experience building performance frameworks adopted by multiple teams or markets
  • Understanding of digital commerce KPIs — GMV, NR, conversion rate, content efficiency, digital shelf metrics
  • Strong communicator — able to translate complex data into commercial insights for non-technical stakeholders
