Global Reporting Analyst (Contractual)

About the role

The Global Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role in meeting the analytical reporting needs for the business and laying the foundations for establishing People Analytics competency within the HR function as it continues its journey towards operational excellence that enables the HR and Business Strategy.

This role requires technical knowledge of Business Intelligence technology, ideally Employee Central Reporting tools, Power BI and other technical solutions that will meet the analytical reporting needs for the business.  

Your responsibilities

  1. Deliver on-going data request and ad-hoc reporting needs based on agreed timelines and ensure requests are handled in compliance to Data Privacy.
  2. Build, test and implement necessary reports and dashboards identified within the current reporting operations and supports client enhancement requests within the SuccessFactors Employee Central reporting tools to increase the self-service capabilities across the organization.
  3. Create documentation that ensures operational excellence, report integrity and reliable metrics.
  4. Embeds and drives usage of self-service analytics and reporting tools by providing access to enhanced reporting and analytics tools.
  5. Partner with HR to understand reporting & analytics requirement; define reports and data standards; build useable reports to meet their needs
  6. Running periodic reporting audits.
  7. Review current reports and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  8. Supports the establishment and implementation of a robust reporting governance structure and related processes. Includes the development of process maps and reconciliation process related to dataset changes in all HRIS systems under the current scope of the reporting operations teams. 
  9. Participate in defining HR data standards.
  10. Support with the ongoing implementation of the People Analytics data architecture to include but not limited to data mapping, testing and building of reports.
  11. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple parallel deliverables, performing quality checks on own output to assure accuracy & complete adherence to data privacy policy whilst ensuring high level of accuracy

The experience we're looking for

  1. Experience in building reports (ideally within SuccessFactors) and dashboard in a fast-paced service delivery environment.
  2. Strong service and delivery ethics with high sensitivity to strictly confidential data both written and verbal.
  3. Highly numerate and experienced data analyst organised and exceptional attention to details.
  4. Good understanding of HR data - Understand the data fields, definitions, input, output (across multiple systems) and data quality requirements
  5. Commercially savvy – good understanding of HR and value of data to provide value add information
  6. Excellent listening, questioning and both written and verbal communication skills
  7. Process improvement and Stakeholder management experience
  8. Process-oriented way of thinking as well as an analytical way of working.
  9. Cross cultural experience and styles of working.
  10. Team worker & ability to work in a matrix environment.
