About the role

We are looking for an IT & Digital professional who has a passionate desire to work with customer facing departments in the organisation and to identify, manage & lead the opportunities that can help drive our business. This is a head of function level role and ideal candidate would have excellent project management, stakeholder management, people management and communication skills. In addition, the candidate would have fantastic knowledge of the latest systems & capabilities, trends and technologies combined with an understanding of how to apply those trends in a consumer goods business to generate maximum value.

The role is for Core Reckitt and is multifaceted with both a Market and Regional purview. The role will have full responsibilities to Build Business Partnerships, Driving Digitization and Value through Technology to achieve the business priorities. The role will be the face of Technology to the Leadership Teams. With an additional remit of looking after Marketing Technologies for the region, supporting all markets. The role reports to the IT&D Director - ASEAN. It also requires close collaboration with other regional and global product teams.

The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be focused on driving business outperformance through innovative solutions using the latest technology and trends, especially in the realm of Sales Digitization, practical application of Data Insights and use of Digital/eCommerce. 

Your responsibilities

Specific Scope / Dimensions of this role:

  • Applying their knowledge and skills while leveraging on the broader global & region to support and drive the business value using leading technologies in the following areas:

i.    Sales and Business Process Transformation and Automation
ii.    Delivering Value through Strong Adoption of Digital Solutions
iii.    Practical Application of Insights and Predictive Analytics
iv.    Leverage Generative-AI to Transform the Business

Business Partnership
•    Develop a deep understanding of the broader business to play an active role in shaping the market’s ability to deliver on their priorities
•    Act as a thought leader to the business and be proactive in identifying opportunities where IT&D can bring advantages to the organisation
•    Partner with senior level stakeholders to discuss and be part of the longer-term Transformation Strategy
•    Leverage experience and best practices across markets and global to propel the business using the latest in Gen-AI, Omnichannel Excellence, Business Intelligence and Process Automation

 

Project Management 
•    Collaborate with Regional and Global IT&D product leads to determine project scope and vision 
•    Experience in managing a product development and roadmap in an Agile/SDLC environment
•    Ability to cultivate meaningful business relationships both internal and external business partners

The experience we're looking for

•    Minimum 7 years of experience in a technology business partnership or program management.
•    Strong track record of business engagement, partnership, and value delivery through effective cross-functional collaboration
•    Able to communicate and influence senior stakeholders towards the strategic priorities
•    Experience in ERP systems such as SAP S4, ECC and/or JDE World
•    Experience in Sales Automation solutions such as Newspage, Centegy, Ivy Mobility etc
•    Exposure/Experience in eCommerce and Marketing Technologies, leveraging GenAI
•    Passionate in and have rolled out transformative initiatives across different functions in the business
•    Comfortable in managing remote delivery teams, across different time zones
•    Able to communicate and influence senior stakeholders towards the strategic priorities
•    Commercial acumen with the ability to work with business leaders and peers to establish priorities and drive through successful execution.
•    Experience in evaluating and implementing eCommerce transactional, optimization and performance/KPI solutions in a FMCG environment
•    Strong financial acumen in managing the function’s budget and expenditure 
•    Excellent understanding of the organisation’s goals and objectives with a strong commercial and business awareness
•    Flexible to travel, if required
