About the role

The IT&D Senior Procurement Analyst – SAP Ariba and SAP MM is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining global procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream solutions integrated with SAP MM.

This role partners closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Vendor Management, and IT teams to ensure seamless sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and invoice processing operations across global markets.

The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Catalogs, Guided Buying, and Invoice Management along with hands-on SAP MM configuration and integration knowledge. The candidate is expected to support business transformation initiatives, process optimization, system enhancements, integration management, testing, and operational support activities.

Your responsibilities

  • Support SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream processes including Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, Guided Buying, Catalog Enablement, Procurement Operations, and Invoice Management.
  • Support SAP MM procurement processes including purchasing, inventory management, material master management, stock transfers, subcontracting, vendor consignment, and invoice verification.
  • Manage integrations between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC/S4HANA MM modules using standard integration frameworks, middleware, IDocs, APIs, and CIG integration concepts.
  • Work on procurement document flows across requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoices, service entry sheets, and supplier collaboration processes.
  • Configure and support SAP MM settings including purchasing organizations, purchasing groups, release strategies, pricing procedures, account determination, movement types, and valuation classes.
  • Support Ariba configurations related to approval workflows, buying channels, catalogs, supplier enablement, invoice validation, and procurement policies.
  • Coordinate testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and cutover support for procurement deployments and enhancements.
  • Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflow solutions.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to Ariba-SAP integrations, purchase order failures, invoice mismatches, master data synchronization, and procurement workflow errors.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process harmonization, compliance improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Support integration touchpoints across FI, SD, PP, WM and vendor collaboration platforms.
  • Work closely with managed service providers and global support teams to ensure SLA adherence, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
  • Support audit, compliance, and governance activities including SoD reviews, procurement controls, and master data governance.
  • Contribute to global transformation initiatives, template rollouts, process standardization, and digital procurement programs.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in SAP Procurement solutions with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Ariba and SAP MM.
  • Strong experience in SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Guided Buying, Catalogs, Supplier Management, and Invoice Management.
  • Good understanding of SAP MM procurement and inventory management processes including purchasing, material master management, invoice verification, stock transfers, and inventory movements.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba integration to SAP ECC/S4HANA MM using CIG, IDocs, APIs, middleware, and procurement integration frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay business processes, procurement operations, supplier lifecycle management, and purchasing compliance.
  • Experience in configuration, testing, deployment support, defect analysis, and production support activities within SAP procurement landscapes.
  • Knowledge of integrations across SAP FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and related enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global business teams, vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional IT teams across multiple time zones.
