About the role

You’ll have the opportunity to drive the growth of your Category through excellent marketing execution. As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic marketing team, you will be given extensive and diverse responsibilities across the full marketing mix and will play a key role in developing the overall category strategy.

Marketing at Reckitt Benckiser is challenging and rewarding, based on consumer insights and strong innovations.  It is also a proven discipline and has developed senior leaders across the business.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing marketing plans & managing marketing budgets for a given category
  • Delivers monthly updates to business review and monitor market performance
  • Directly responsible for leading the development and execution of the category strategy in line with country commercial strategy
  • Accountable for marketing budget on assigned category
  • Sits on geography marketing leadership team, setting marketing direction for assigned category
  • Owns development of category structure and assigning of resources; manage Senior Brand Managers and the reports into them
  • Works with supply, sales and finance to develop and execute successful Category Plans to deliver net revenue, gross margin, market share and product contribution targets within timescales and budget
  • Executes product launches agreed by Area ; Contributes to innovation growth by delivering product development programs to further margin growth
  • Responsible for executing market copy strategy for category and ensure adaption possible for category across area
  • Accountable for portfolio strategy in conjunction with global category and area innovation to support overall business strategy, medium / long term
  • Partners with media / consumer and market insights to develop media strategy and plans
