About the role

The IT&D  Senior Analyst – SAP SD is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining SAP Sales & Distribution processes across the global Order to Cash (O2C) cycle. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, and IT teams to ensure smooth order processing, pricing accuracy, delivery execution, billing operations, and continuous process improvement across markets.

Your responsibilities

  • Minimum 7-10 years of exp in designing and implementing SAP Sales and Distribution
  • Responsible for key SAP SD processes including sales orders- intercompany, third party, consignment, quotations, contracts, pricing, delivery creation, shipment, transportation, and billing.
  • Configure SD master data and transactional settings such as customer master, output types, pricing conditions, delivery types, billing types, credit management, and partner functions.
  • Responsible for testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and cutover readiness for O2C‑related deployments.
  • Responsible in preparation of functional specifications for enhancements, custom reports, EDI/IDoc interfaces, ATP checks, and workflow/document output improvements.
  • Responsible for integrations across MM (availability of materials), PP (make‑to‑order/ATP), FI (billing & revenue), WM/EWM (delivery picking & shipping), and CRM systems.
  • Responsible for integrations with third party systems like 3PL, OTM, Transplace, Order entry portals, E invoicing portals, High Radius, etc..
  • Support daily O2C operations such as order creation issues, pricing discrepancies, delivery blocks, credit management blocks, shipment failures, and billing errors.
  • Resolve operational issues related to output processing, EDI messages, customer master data, item category determination, and tax or pricing inconsistencies.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring SD issues and propose permanent solutions. 
  • Support SD master data governance activities including customer master, condition records, routes, and partner functions.
  • Recommend opportunities for automation, digital customer experience, and O2C process optimization leveraging SAP capabilities.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 07–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD.
  • Good understanding of O2C processes including order entry, delivery, shipment, billing, returns, credit management, and customer invoicing.
  • Experience supporting multi-country or global sales and distribution operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. 
  • Ability to work with global business teams across time zones and support time‑critical O2C operations
