About the role
The Sales Finance Manager acts as the strategic finance partner to the Sales and Marketing organisation across the region. The role drives commercial planning, forecasting, pricing governance and performance management, providing actionable insights that support revenue growth, profitability and effective commercial decision‑making.
This position leads the Sales Finance team, strengthens financial rigour across commercial processes, and ensures consistent financial governance and reporting in close collaboration with Regional Finance, Category Finance, Supply Chain Finance and FP&A.
Your responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end sales forecasting and commercial planning processes, ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.
- Own annual, quarterly and monthly planning cycles, including scenario modelling, revenue projections and assumptions.
- Oversee planning processes within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), ensuring quality, accuracy and timely delivery.
- Drive improvements and standardisation in forecasting, planning and reporting methodologies.
- Analyse sales and profitability performance across channels, customers, brands and categories, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Provide insights on pricing, trade spend effectiveness, mix and customer contribution to support profitable growth.
- Lead pricing governance and oversee trade spend planning, effectiveness reviews and ROI tracking.
- Partner with Sales teams on customer negotiations, joint business planning and promotional strategies.
- Build and maintain executive‑level dashboards and performance reports to support business steering decisions.
- Lead, coach and develop the Sales Finance team, building strong analytical, commercial and communication capabilities.
- Ensure close alignment with Regional Finance teams across Category Finance, COGs and Fixed Costs, providing integrated and consistent financial insight.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, supporting business reviews, forums and strategic initiatives.
The experience we're looking for
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
- CIMA qualified or actively progressing toward qualification (finalist preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Finance, Commercial Finance, Trade Spend or similar analytical roles.
- Proven experience leading forecasting, budgeting and commercial planning cycles.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Strong business acumen with understanding of sales processes, pricing, trade terms, customer P&Ls and route‑to‑market dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Fusion is a strong advantage.
- Fluent English and Ukrainian with the ability to communicate complex financial insights to senior stakeholders.
