Your responsibilities
- SLA Set up with all service providers and KPIs managed within terms of agreement. KPIs to be in place for all transporters, clearing agents etc, reviewed and published every month.
- Play an active role in tendering process and drive costs as well as service improvements through the selection. KPI: Drive to ensure Global Tender is smooth and savings are derived
- Ensure all monthly accounts are managed and paid within agreed timelines. KPI: No outstanding payments to suppliers; measure on monthly basis and transparently.
- Ensure all tariffs and duties are correctly classified and paid accordingly.
- Clear trackers and KPIs in place for all FO, FI and WH activities. All properly managed and controlled with clear actions to meet Business expectations.
- All audit compliance in Logistics space are met, ensure all SOPs, work instructions are in place and reviewed regularly and strictly adhered to.
- Vehicle utilization for outbound deliverers, container utilization for imports
- Inbound & Outbound freight optimization.
- Management and control of all 3P logistics suppliers within the operation.
- General Operational Excellence & compliance
- Ensure full SQC adherence in Warehousing and Transportation
- Project Management of key cost and services improvement initiatives that result in efficiency improvements.
The experience we're looking for
- Solid experience in warehouse operations and the ability to blend commercial insight with technical expertise.
- Skills in continuous improvement, financial stewardship, and team development.
- A successful track record of working within the supply chain community and with external partners.
- Leadership qualities that encourage ownership and a sense of responsibility.
- An understanding of key performance indicators in service delivery, along with proficiency in data analytics and supply chain planning.
- Relevant degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Warehousing and freight management, preferably within FMCG or Logistics companies.
