About the role

To work as part of the Reckitt SAP Competency Centre to govern all aspects of the Reckitt SAP template in the relevant module areas. Highly functional with sound understanding of underlying tools & technologies used in the SAP domain. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of maintenance processes and experience of the SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module, ideally the candidate should also have experience with integrating SAP to other applications.​

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure that local requirements are assessed against the global PM template to prevent inadvertent impacts on other areas.​
  • Ensure that the validated state of the system is kept intact with respect to documentation and process​
  • Ensure the system is audit compliant​
  • Ensure the ability to upgrade i.e. do not change SAP outside of the allowed rules​

Key Outputs/Deliverables​:

  • Providing technical expertise and, where required leadership, to the business on projects/initiatives involving assessment, design, development and implementation of SAP systems.​
  • Ensure the incumbent vendor is delivering services at the required quality in the appropriate time according to the SLAs in place​
  • Best practice approach to system design and business processes​
  • Approval of system documentation, including testing; ensuring this complies with regulatory requirements​
  • Governance of deployment teams implementing the global SAP template​
  • Liaising with support organisation and/or adoption team for ongoing issues with live operations​

 

Metrics​:

  • Deployment and continuous improvement change requests delivered to schedule​
  • Passing project toll gates​

Key Interactions/Stakeholders​:

  • Works alongside the BPO to govern the SAP template​
  • Coaches junior team members​
  • Coordinates with other Global Projects / Initiatives​
  • Primary contact for SI partner with respect to technical SAP topics​
  • Candidates must be willing to travel as part of the SAP project life cycle​

The experience we're looking for

Technical:​

  • Extensive, demonstrable experience in more than one SAP modular area​
  • Solid understanding of the PM integration points with other modules areas, MM, QM, CO​
  • Knowledge of spare parts, notifications, calibration, condition monitoring and Fiori apps ​
  • A thorough understanding of user-exits/BADIs is required along with integration options around non-SAP systems​
  • Practical experience of supporting SAP and related solutions​

Functional: ​

  • Experience of working in a global organisation​
  • Detailed and extensive knowledge of quality processes​
  • Ability to consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts to acquire appropriate business requirements​
  • Ability to establish meaningful business relationships both internal and external business partners​

Methodologies:​

  • Software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)​
