Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
The Head of Sales and Trade Marketing’s overall objective is to drive the National customer / channel strategy of Profit and Margin growth, NR and NWC. The role must lead the achievement of customer / channel strategy through their Key Account teams across different markets and in close partnership with the category marketing function.
Leads within the country the development and implementation of category / channel management strategies. This will focus on increasing in store presence in our categories, strengthening our brands, optimizing product assortment, and promotional strategy. The role will focus on building expert knowledge in our key categories and sharing this with the customer in order to build long term partnerships and increase profit and sales.
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the country commercial strategy, working with category marketing, customer and customer analysis to develop promotional strategy. Ensures team deliver against operating model.
- Defines category trade marketing KPIs across all categories.
- Drive excellence in store (5P) execution across key customers / key accounts / channels for all country categories.
- Leads focus on in-store categories, strengthening brands, optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy.
- Lead country Trade Marketing team, defining organizational structure, definition of skills and competencies.
- Develop category strategies and vision to customers; leads and supports the implementing of promotional strategy across customers, in line with brand priorities and media plans.
- Builds long-term partnerships with customers in order to drive margins and meet company objectives.
- Continuous analysis of the competitive and customer position in country, working together with sales director to develop long-term trade marketing actions and strategies aimed at strengthening position in categories across country portfolio.
