About the role

You will have primary responsibility for Reward & Benefits in France and support broader Western Europe as a key partner to the Western Europe Reward Lead. The role combines hands‑on operational expertise in the French tax, social security and labour environment with coordination and delivery of wider regional reward projects. You will design and update local programmes, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lead annual processes and support global reward implementation across the cluster.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as subject‑matter expert on reward for France and Western Europe, covering compensation, benefits, incentives, profit sharing and statutory schemes
  • Lead the profit sharing (intéressement / participation) cycle in France, including annual negotiations and program redesign
  • Lead the Annual Pay Review for France and support harmonization of processes across Western Europe
  • Review and analyze market data, salary structures and benchmarking to ensure competitive and compliant compensation decisions
  • Provide expert guidance on French tax and social security implications, including taxable benefits and the inpatriate tax scheme
  • Manage and support international mobility cases, including fiscal assessments and validation of external provider documentation
  • Collaborate with Payroll & HR Operations to ensure accurate execution of reward processes and resolve operational issues
  • Participate in Work Council meetings; present reward topics, explain methodologies and support required changes
  • Support design and delivery of regional reward projects (e.g., benefits review, pay transparency preparation, alignment of mobility standards)
  • Ensure local adoption of global reward programs (Annual Pay Review, performance and pay frameworks, recognition)
  • Provide guidance to HRBPs, TA and Finance on reward matters, supporting decision‑making and process improvement
  • Operate with autonomy, proposing improvements, challenging existing processes and stabilizing areas impacted by recent HR transformation 

The experience we're looking for

  • 5–10+ years of experience in Reward / C&B
  • Previous exposure to the French reward environment (tax, social security, statutory requirements, Work Council interaction)
  • Experience leading profit-sharing processes and annual compensation review cycles
  • Experience in matrix, international organisations; FMCG preferred
  • Comfortable working hands-on and independently, with strong analytical capabilities and judgement. on and independently, with strong analytical capabilities and judgement

  • Fluent French – C2
  • Fluent  English – C1
