About the role
As an HR Business Partner for Support Functions, you will play a critical role in supporting multiple functional leaders across Finance, Supply, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and HR in France. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, driving complex transformation initiatives, supporting managers through organizational changes, and ensuring strong alignment between people plans and business priorities.
This role operates in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving environment, requiring strong stakeholder management, solid understanding of French labour law, and the ability to navigate sensitive employee topics. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing coaching, guidance, and hands‑on support across talent, performance, organisational design, employee relations, reward processes and engagement activities.
You will also translate global HR initiatives into the local context, ensuring effective implementation across France.
Your responsibilities
- Partner with functional leaders to develop and implement people plans aligned with business priorities, particularly across Finance and Supply.
- Support leaders through organisational evolution and transformation initiatives, ensuring effective change management and clear, consistent employee communication.
- Lead talent management processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and identification of high-potential employees.
- Guide managers through complex employee relations topics, sensitive conversations, performance challenges, and employment law implications.
- Ensure full compliance with French labour law, local HR policies, and global HR standards.
- Facilitate the annual performance cycle, offering communication and training support for leaders and employees.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure high-quality recruitment processes and strong alignment with Reckitt’s culture and values.
- Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, including running feedback sessions, supporting action plans and driving culture-related interventions.
- Collaborate with Rewards, HR Ops, HUB, Payroll, and Centres of Excellence to deliver seamless HR processes.
- Provide insights, structure information effectively and prepare HR reporting for management teams.
- Adapt communication and collaboration approach to diverse leadership styles, ensuring effective alignment across functions.
- Work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities change frequently, requiring strong judgement, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving.
The experience we're looking for
- 5–15 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years as HR Business Partner in a complex, matrixed international organisation.
- Experience supporting corporate or global functions; FMCG experience is highly valued.
- Strong background in HR transformation projects.
- Deep understanding of French labour law.
- Knowledge of reward processes; compensation experience is a strong plus.
- Experience in Talent Acquisition or interviewing is beneficial.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders with different expectations and working styles.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Demonstrated capability in prioritising, multi-tasking and delivering at speed.
- Strong critical thinking, structured communication, and ability to translate insights into actions.
- Fluent French (C2) and fluent English (C1).
- Higher degree (BAC + 5) in HR, Business, Law or related area; MBA or Business School appreciated.
- Resilience, ownership, and a genuine interest in building a long-term solution in a global organisation.
