About the role

As a Scientific Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Italian Healthcare business by providing high‑level scientific expertise and medical guidance across OTC and Medical Devices product categories. As a trusted partner to the commercial teams, you will contribute to the development and execution of the medical strategy, ensure the scientific accuracy of claims and materials, and support stakeholder engagement activities. You will be responsible for guaranteeing that all scientific content, claims and communications are accurate, compliant and aligned with the latest clinical evidence. A core part of the role is keeping scientific and clinical knowledge constantly updated and ensuring that internal teams receive accurate and relevant medical insights.

Your responsibilities

  • Scientific updating & training: Maintain an advanced and continuously updated knowledge of clinical evidence, product literature, therapeutic areas and guidelines, and deliver highquality scientific and product training to sales/detailing representatives, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Scientific support to the field: Provide ongoing scientific support through regular trainings and accompaniment of detailing representatives, ensuring accurate scientific communication and highquality product detailing.
  • Promotional materials, claims & medical strategy: Contribute strategically to medical and promotional strategy by supporting the development, review and approval of promotional materials and claims, providing expert medical input to ensure scientific robustness, accuracy, balance, evidence‑based content and competitive defensibility, in line with brand objectives
  • Medical compliance & procedures: Guarantee medical accuracy, compliance and consistency across all scientific content and communications, and contribute to the development and optimization of medical procedures, documentation, and internal processes.
  • Congress & scientific events: Support the planning, coordination and compliant execution of congresses, sponsored events and scientific meetings, representing the medical function and managing all medicalrelated activities on site.
  • Medical insights & stakeholder engagement: Monitor clinical data, medical literature and scientific trends, provide timely medical responses and insights to internal and external stakeholders, and build effective relationships with KOLs and healthcare organizations.

The experience we're looking for

- At least 5 years of experience in a medical or scientific role, demonstrating solid expertise across all relevant medical, scientific and compliance‑related areas
- Ability to work autonomously, showing leadership and excellence in execution.
- Proven communication skills, able to manage relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- A record of strategic project management, delivering results and adapting to new information and challenges.

- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
