About the role

Seize the opportunity to become a Finance or Commercial Controller at Reckitt, where your expertise will be vital in managing the financial complexities of a dynamic international market. In this critical role, you'll navigate the fascinating world of international logistics, ensuring the seamless flow of goods while adeptly controlling costs and collaborating closely with the tax department. Your responsibilities

  • P&L Ownership: Manage the end-to-end profitability of a specific category, including monthly forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Commercial Finance Support: Partner with Brand, Marketing, and Sales to evaluate product innovations, renovation activities, and new product proposals.
  • Trade & Pricing Strategy: Analyze and optimize promotional investments (trade spend) and set pricing strategies to improve margin.
  • Cost Management: Monitor cost of sales, manufacturing costs, and cost-to-serve metrics, partnering with Supply Teams in factories and supply services.
  • Performance Reporting: Deliver actionable financial insights and executive-ready presentations on volume, mix, and customer/channel performance.
  • Leading Plan-Forecast: Leads the Plan & Forecast process for their category, including presenting all Category Plans to leadership in liaison with Category team.

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience: 8–14 years in financial planning, commercial finance, or sales finance, with specific CPG experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance required; MBA or certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Analytics).
  • Competencies: Strong communication skills to influence sales partners, analytical mindset, and ability to manage complex trade spend structures. Strong ability to analyze data, build financial models, and create reports in tools like Power BI or Tableau. Proven experience leading or mentoring junior analysts, and comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

Salary Ranges

CAD $150,000.00 -  $224,000.00
