This can include defining and evolving our workplace strategy, managing office layouts, seating arrangements, meeting rooms and the associated services required to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of our facilities  including the physical assets such as furniture, equipment, and infrastructure.

About the role

This role leads employee on/offboarding, the intern/co-op program, payroll and employee benefits, invoicing & mailing for HR and Facilities, along with being the point of contact for employee queries. Your responsibilities

**1 year fixed term contract**

Recruitment & On boarding Process

  • Lead full onboarding process from start date and end after the first 90 days of employment.
  • Assist in the offboarding process including exit interviews, ensure payroll and systems are updated
  • Maintain all Job Descriptions and succession planning database
  • Process employee referral bonus’
  • Keep recruitment & payroll tracker up to date

Support and Lead the Intern Program

  • University sourcing strategy (including networking activities)
  • Documented selection process (prescreening, video interviewing, interview questions and process)
  • Create, manage and run Graduate/ Intern day. Process must be documented.
  • Create, manage, and run the closure of the intern program.
  • Training and communications to managers on all the above.

Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Assist payroll with employee queries
  • Process quarterly reconciliation for employee benefits

Invoicing

  • Process all Facilities and HR invoices through SAP Ariba
  • Assist employees in creating shipping labels when EA is unavailable

Additional

  • Provide reports to HR regarding confidential employee data
  • HR SharePoint Owner. Launch and maintenance of SharePoint site for HR function which includes all key employee moments, policies, processes, and employee file

The experience we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of experience in Human resources
  • Bachelors in HR or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in SAP is an asset

Salary Ranges

CAD $74,000.00 -  $110,000.00
