About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT&D team supporting Reckitt’s Northern European factories in Nottingham. In this role, you will play a key part in driving digital transformation within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Working closely with the IT Portfolio Manager, you will lead the delivery and optimisation of IT&D initiatives across factory operations.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of digital and technology projects across the factory environment, including shop-floor systems, automation, infrastructure, connectivity, and manufacturing solutions.
  • Act as the key link between Factory Operations, Engineering teams, and IT&D, ensuring technology solutions support operational needs while aligning with global standards and roadmaps.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for digitalisation, process improvement, and operational excellence to deliver measurable business value.
  • Manage multiple technology initiatives simultaneously, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and global partners to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
  • Spend time on the shop floor to understand operational challenges, prioritise improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of new technologies.
  • Track and communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to factory and IT&D leadership teams.

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven experience delivering technology initiatives within FMCG, manufacturing, or factory environments, with a strong understanding of operational challenges and production processes.
  • Hands-on exposure to factory technology, manufacturing systems, automation projects, shop-floor systems, infrastructure, and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Ability to act as a bridge between shop-floor operations and IT teams, translating manufacturing requirements into effective technology solutions and ensuring systems support operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of machinery, production equipment, and the IT systems that enable manufacturing operations, asset performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering solutions in fast-paced manufacturing environments, with a focus on execution, business outcomes, and value realisation.
  • Ability to balance local factory needs with global technology standards, governance frameworks, and strategic roadmaps.
  • Experience identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement, digitisation, automation, and business value creation across manufacturing operations.
  • Skilled at engaging and influencing stakeholders across operational, engineering, manufacturing, and IT functions to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Experience supporting the convergence of manufacturing and digital technologies to drive productivity, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
