About the role

Are you ready to shape the future of packaging? The External Manufacturing Packaging team works with over 50 co-manufacturers across Europe, manufacturing licensed medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, food, and general products using a wide range of manufacturing technologies and packaging formats.

You will collaborate with professionals from various industries and cultural backgrounds, fostering teamwork and knowledge exchange to develop smarter, more innovative packaging solutions. You’ll be responsible for delivering packaging projects with external partners in the Health and Personal Care Co-manufacturing sector in Europe.

Your responsibilities

•    Design, develop and implement new packaging concepts, artworks and solutions, considering factors such as product protection, cost-effectiveness, sustainability and marketability, by providing continuous technical support on every stage of project lifecycle.
•    Evaluate and select appropriate packaging materials and suppliers.
•    Conduct testing and analysis to ensure packing process / packaging performance throughout the supply chain.
•    Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver projects, optimize packaging processes and resolve any quality and technical issues.
•    Ensure compliance with relevant packaging regulations and standards.
•    Develop and maintain packaging documentation (specifications, pallet plans, assembly methods, CPBOMs, etc).
•    Maintenance of packaging databases & Quality systems.
•    Identify and implement cost-saving, sustainability and efficiency improvement opportunities in packaging.
•    Participate in cross-functional project teams to support projects, new product launches and packaging changes.
•    Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in packaging technology and materials.

The experience we're looking for

•    Technical Degree
•    2-5 years of experience on similar position.
•    Knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and testing methodologies.
•    Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
•    Good time management skills, ability of juggling multiple priorities, flexibility and effectiveness. 
•    Attention to detail & maintaining accuracy in documentation regardless of high time pressure. 
•    Strong problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
