About the role

Reckitt is seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to support the Legal Department across a range of commercial and corporate legal matters. This role provides hands-on exposure to the day‑to‑day work of an in‑house legal team supporting a global consumer products business.The Legal Intern will work closely with in-house attorneys on legal research, contract review, compliance initiatives, marketing/advertising campaigns/review and cross‑functional projects, gaining practical experience in how legal counsel partners with the business to manage risk, support operations, and enable growth in a regulated and dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in-house counsel with a variety of legal and compliance matters supporting business teams
  • Support the drafting, review, and organization of agreements, including NDAs, commercial contracts, and terms & conditions
  • Conduct legal research on topics such as marketing and advertising law, consumer protection, commercial law, privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare summaries, presentations, and internal guidance materials on legal issues
  • Support special projects and general Legal Department initiatives as assigned

The skills for success

  • Currently enrolled in an ABA‑accredited law school
  • Strong academic performance with an interest in in‑house, commercial, or regulatory law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional judgment, discretion, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Internship Details

10-week in-person internship program starting May 2026

Pay: $21 -$23 / hr
