About the role

This position is responsible for leading the Brand activations and equity-building activities in market for our Mucinex Children's Brands.  The position resides within the US Marketing function and will support marketing leadership for assigned brands. This Brand Manager role will play a key role in leading the activation plans, P&L management, forecasting, retail plans, integrated marketing campaigns (IMC), media planning & advertising and content development processes. He/she is expected to drive the growth of assigned brands through best-in-class marketing execution and consumer experience curation and is expected to work in close collaboration with Finance/Trade / Sales/ Shopper/ Medical, Regulatory, Supply and other cross-functional teams.

 

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

  • Deliver leading-edge thinking to drive disruption in the Upper Respiratory space, expand category usage and grow brand share 
  • Play a leadership role in shaping the brand / portfolio equity strategy, vision & communications/support model
  • Lead cross-functional teams & agencies in execution of advertising, media planning, social community management, website, CRM & promotions, trade, shopper, supply and finance.
  • Tap into marketing skillset to quickly understand & leverage dynamic technology / trends to maximize business impact.  
  • Help develop a culture of performance marketing with real-time analysis of campaign and program effectiveness and optimization across channels 
  • Manage day-to-day business activities for assigned brand(s) and select portfolio-wide responsibilities 
  • Contribute to Reckitt Innovation by delivering support plans to ensure successful launches 
  • Identify retail customer needs and develop strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands 
  • Work with partners & other Reckitt brand teams to establish best practices to maximize ROI for the company 
  • Manage marketing budget & coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure optimal spending 
  • Analyze brand, market & competitive trends and recommend suitable actions 
  • Manage brand P&L and forecasting

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business / relevant discipline; MBA preferred 
  • 5-7 Years of marketing experience, ideally including exposure to equity strategy and advertising development 
  • Prior experience in related fields (Marketing, Advertising, PR)  
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agency relationships preferred 
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills in CPG environment 
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, financial skills, forecasting and P&L understanding   
  • Obsession for marketing, advertising & brand-building 
  • Well versed in social & digital marketing channels 
  • Strong commercial awareness, entrepreneurial, ability to influence, creativity   
  • Strong sense of urgency and achievement, resilient and able to respond under pressure   
  • Strong skills in analyzing data to draw conclusions, should be comfortable with Nielsen and Numerator
  • Proven leadership skills and experience 
  • Prior experience in healthcare/ OTC marketing preferred but not mandatory
  • Solid experience in development of strategy for Brand and Brand planning

US salary ranges

 USD $141,000.00  -  $185,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
