About the role

The VMI Manager is responsible for the management of customer inventory replenishment and demand forecasts at the unique item level throughout the product lifecycle, leveraging Reckitt’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and customer‑specific tools. This customer‑facing role drives day‑to‑day Supply Chain execution while supporting customer in‑stock targets, inventory objectives, and fill rate performance, ensuring alignment with overall Reckitt Supply Strategies.

 

In this role, you will directly benefit our customers by minimizing excess inventory while maximizing consumer sales and on‑shelf availability. You will support joint success by acting as a key liaison and stakeholder between Reckitt and the customer, ensuring accurate baseline and promotional forecasts and translating customer needs into executable supply plans. This role is pivotal in bringing customer and brand strategies to life, requiring strong end‑to‑end supply chain knowledge, cross‑functional collaboration, and clear, concise communication between internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

  • Optimize customer replenishment performance to deliver in‑stock targets, inventory health, fill rates, and joint business objectives, managing item‑level demand and inventory across the product lifecycle using IBP and customer tools
  • Lead customer collaboration and performance reviews, including weekly meetings to assess KPIs, identify opportunities, and provide clear, data‑driven recommendations
  • Drive insight‑led decision making by analyzing multiple data sources, highlighting forecast exceptions and risks, and communicating actionable insights to Sales, Demand Planning, and key stakeholders
  • Lead and develop VMI capabilities, managing improvement projects, enhancing tools and reporting, and coaching team members to strengthen analytical thinking, customer engagement, and supply chain efficiency

The experience we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management, or another business-related field
  • Strong Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple groups to achieve targeted goals
  • Demonstrate the ability to take ownership and implement effective change
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • 4+ years of Supply Chain experience

US salary ranges

USD $94,000.00 -  $118,000

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
