About the role

As a Brand Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to drive the growth of your assigned brands through excellent marketing execution, bold strategic thinking and agile project management. As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic marketing team, you will be given extensive and diverse responsibilities across the full marketing mix and will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy. 

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

  • Develop and execute successful Brand Plans, in partnership with supply, sales and finance, to deliver net revenue, gross margin, market share and profit targets within timescales and budget as approved by Area 
  • Develop and lead execution of the 3-year innovation pipeline in close partnership with the cross-functional team 
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy / plans for a given brand within a category, responsible for ensuring successful implementation of the plan 
  • Develop robust category, competitive and consumer knowledge and deliver data-driven recommendations 
  • Develop communication strategies and full-funnel media plans in collaboration with the Consumer Engagement team 
  • Manage Assistant/Associate Brand Managers who provide monthly updates to business review and monitor market performance, responsible for successful implementation of Brand plans as per business review and Business plan 
  • In close cooperation with the Trade Marketing function, identify trade needs / opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions for brands 
  • Implement portfolio strategy in conjunction with global category and area innovation to support overall business strategy, short / medium term; Implement media strategy and plans 
  • Accountable for marketing budget on assigned brands

The experience we're looking for

  • Strong leadership mindset – Can-Do / Go-get attitude is a must 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to pivot quickly and proactively 
  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what’s needed 
  • Ability to work efficiently with a complex, matrixed and diverse cross-functional team 
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with significant experience in a similar role 
  • Bachelor's degree from a US or internationally-recognized university; MBA a plus 
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in brand  
  • Career in leading CPG company a must 
  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills 
  • Proficient in MS Office  
  • Strong time management skills

US salary ranges

  $136,000.00  -  $204,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
