About the role

Commercial Quality oversees product quality throughout distribution and post market.  The Commercial Quality Specialist manages embellishment activities, releases, and quality holds to ensure that all products for NA market transported under secure and controlled conditions, received and managed at the Logistics Center (LC) handled properly ensuring achievement of Right First Time and customer service goals.

Your responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain a precise working knowledge of all cGMP’s, Operating Procedures, all product information, and documentation.
  • Possess and communicate a working knowledge of LC and CMO processes and workflow.
  • Analyze errors and deviation from process and procedures, hold key stakeholders accountable, and provide guidance to correct.
  • Maintain knowledge of WMS and SAP systems.
  • Ensure that Hold Notifications are made to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain quality system processes, such as Change Control, Supplier Management, Deviations and Investigations, CAPA, etc.
  • Identify functional and process gaps and develop and deploy training to correct knowledge gaps at the site.
  • Manage relationship with 3PL stakeholders and assure EH processes and procedures are followed.
  • Assuring complaints involving product quality are thoroughly investigated.

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum of a BA or BS degree, preferably in a scientific or technical field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control Systems in a regulated environment.
  • Must have experience with quality tools such as: SPC, Advanced Quality Planning, Control Plans, FMEA, Root-Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, cross-functional problem-solving teams, etc.
  • Experienced in Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Distribution Practices.
  • Experienced in quality systems, such as ISO 9000, GMP, and Auditing.
  • Experience working in ISO14001:2004 environment preferred.

US Salary Ranges 

104,000.00 - 156,000.00
