About the role

Your responsibilities
· Draft, review, and revise various types of contracts, including supply agreements, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
· Maintain and organize a comprehensive contract management system, including preparation for end of terms.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Conduct legal research related to contract law and other relevant topics.
· Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information for contract preparation.
· Monitor contract performance and compliance and address any issues that arise.
· Review claim support data, including scientific testing, clinical studies, market research data, consumer preference studies and survey data ensuring that the data supports the stated claims with statistical significance as required by law.
· Conducts and attends regular project meetings with R&D, Regulatory and other needed cross-functional personnel to ensure claims testing will support Marketing-desired claims.
The experience we're looking for
· Proficiency in Microsoft office, and contract management systems
· Interpersonal skills, intelligence, and the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and cogent manner
· Comfortable exercising independent judgment, but escalating questions and important issues as needed
· Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred
· Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as contracts manager/specialist with a major corporation or leading law firm
· Prior claims manager experience with a major corporation or leading law firm preferred
· Experience with claims management systems in the consumer products industry is a plus
· The ability to interface effectively with internal senior management
· Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
· Clear and effective communicator with a commitment to responsiveness and problem-solving
· Strong desire to learn the business and function smoothly as part of an interdisciplinary team
· Program/project management experience preferred

US salary ranges
USD $113,000.00 - $169,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
