The vision of the EMO Planning team is to be an effective enabler to delivery of sustainable best in class service levels, with optimum inventory and cost management.  This is achieved through development and deployment of efficient tools and processes, clear and transparent communication, and cross functional collaboration and alignment with our Compass at the heart of everything we do.

 

The EMO Planning Lead is a smart, analytical, driven and knowledgeable and passionate supply chain professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and gain Area/Global exposure to multiple stake holders across the Reckitt business. 

 

As the roles and responsibilities of the position will evolve as industry trends evolve, the individual will be expected to show an interest and keep up to date with disruptive concepts and work closely with Centre of Excellence Teams and identify opportunities to leverage and incorporate these concepts in the Reckitt business. 

 

Your interpersonal skills will be as critical as your technical skills in this role as you collaborate across markets, factories, copackers etc. Key that you will be interacting with both Multi-functional teams both in and outside of Reckitt.

Your responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the supply plan for external manufacturing
  • Works with EMO’s  to ensure continuity of supply and maximize service to market
  • Direct management and personal development responsibilities
  • Chair supply review for their respective EMOs
  • Works with IMEX Demand Planners to ensure that there is right forecast enrichment done which reflects the latest Demand.
  • Provides governance around demand & supply balancing with a holistic, un-biased viewpoint managing all stake holders.
  • Leads and streamlines the communication between markets and sites. Becomes the voice of the Region
  • Proactive management of service to the markets and management of the full planning horizon. Always actions on the Distress skus making sure that they don’t do in the OOS zone.
  • Produces stock tunnel report for markets & sites. Ensure the best visibility of service level projections for markets
  • Setting up inventory targets and managing their execution. Coordinate input from the markets & factory and ensure the agreed targets are adhered to by the business 
  • Scenario planning: Conduct ad-hoc cost/ benefit analysis on various options to balance supply and demand, to be presented to category / regional leadership and in various forums.
  • Negotiate targets (provided by Inv. Optimizers) with input from the Markets & ensure the agreed targets are adhered to by the business
  • Track the KPIs and lead the discussions between factories and countries to over-deliver the targets.
  • Work closely with EMOs and Demand Planning teams to optimize the end-to-end supply chain in terms of cost, efficiency, go-to-market lead time reduction.
  • Monitor and consolidate Obsoletes/Provisioned items across markets (finished goods + raw/pack) to align clearance strategies with Obsoletes Hub and assure full clearance.
  • Coordinate and chair Service calls

The experience we're looking for

  • 5+ years demand/supply planning experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Supply systems / tools and E2E Knowledge (connecting Demand, Supply and S&OP)
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability; analyze complex data, identify issues, explain variances and recommend solutions
  • Strong ability to build Relationships with enhanced ability to manage these relationships with good communication ability. This is needed to effectively manage stake holders across functions, regions.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and confidently while making sure that all stake holders are heard.
  • Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers,
  • Good knowledge of SAP & JDE ERP systems.
  • Good knowledge on Stat Forecasting, Forecasting Enrichment and understanding the issues on Forecasting.
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about customer service and know how to manage internal customers and complex processes / supply chains.
  • You’re self-motivated and able to collaborate effectively to influence other teams.
  • Positive & Can-Do attitude with a clear and effective communication style.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and make quick decisions

US salary ranges

USD $115,000.00 -  $173,000.00
