The experience we're looking for

  • 5 + years in Business Analytics 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel (10% of the time)
  • Solid background in market analytics, adept at interpreting complex data to create relevant market strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a history of guiding diverse teams in a cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent in using analytical tools like SQL, Python, R, and familiar with market research methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Ideally a background in FMCG or Consumer Health, bringing a creative and sustainable approach to product development and marketing.

 

Job Responsabilities

  • Leverage syndicated POS and Panel data to develop deep understanding of Portfolio and Category Performance.
  • Influence and impact business results by interpreting, synthesizing, and communicating insights and recommendations that are simple, engaging, and actionable.
  • Support Marketing team requests as the go-to expert on portfolio and category performance.
  • Create and Evolve weekly Ad-Hoc business Reporting with changing needs of the business & organization.
  • Collaborate with broader Insights & Analytics team to deliver strategic reporting. Leverage performance data to support long-term planning inputs.
  • Grow data literacy among team members, as a strategic enabler of company goals and objectives. Educate cross-functional users of reporting tools to expand best practices for data use.
  • Maintain both internal and external POS/Panel database integrity, proactively engage in innovation and update panel database data collection.
  • Apply machine learning techniques (classification and regression models) to large-scale consumer and retail datasets to identify patterns, predict performance trends, and support data-driven targeting strategies.
  • Utilize panel data to analyse consumer behaviour, purchase drivers, and household dynamics to inform category strategy and portfolio growth.

 

The skills for success

  • Very Strong technical skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerBI
  • Statistical Modelling and Machine Learning experience preferred
  • Python and SQL experienced preferred
  • Proficient with Syndicated and Panel data source (Nielsen, IRI/Circana, Numerator, etc) and is continually able to stay up to date with the latest data source.

US salary ranges

USD $113,000.00 -  $169,000.00
