About the role

The IT&D Sales Execution Sr. Manager plays a pivotal role in driving efficiency and effectiveness within our sales organization by leveraging technology and digital solutions. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of our sales teams, identifying opportunities for technological enhancement, and leading the implementation and optimization of IT and digital tools that directly impact sales execution and performance.

The role needs to drive adoption and extract value out of existing and new Sales solutions and is responsible for the overall business enablement of sales execution via technology. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen, technical understanding, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions within and connected to Sales

Your responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into actionable IT and digital roadmaps that enhance sales execution capabilities.
  • Proactively identify pain points and opportunities for improvement within the sales process through technology and digital solutions. Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, sales enablement platforms, mobile sales apps, data analytics dashboards).
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of sales-focused IT and digital projects, including defining scope, developing project plans, managing timelines and budgets, and coordinating with internal IT teams and external vendors.
  • Make sure solutions are being used and attribute and measure the business benefit of these solutions
  • Ensure the effective utilization and ongoing optimization of existing sales IT and digital systems. Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices to maintain data integrity. Make sure that there is the right balance between local business needs and adopting global solutions vs adding locally essential needs.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and provide ongoing support to sales teams on the effective use of IT and digital tools. Create user-friendly documentation and resources.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of IT and digital initiatives on sales execution. Develop and deliver regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external IT and digital vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met and value is maximized.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and digital trends relevant to sales execution and proactively identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT, Marketing, Finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of sales IT and digital solutions.
  • Manage the budget allocated to sales IT and digital initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing return on investment.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of 10-12  years of experience in IT or digital roles with a strong focus on sales execution and enablement.
  •  Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing CRM or Merchandizing systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Accenture NewsPage, Image recognition), sales enablement platforms, or other relevant sales technologies.
  •  Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and the challenges faced by sales teams.
  •  Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  •  Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  •  Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across different teams and levels within the organization.
  •  Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  •  Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is a plus.

US salary ranges

USD $161,000.00 -  $241,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
