Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

The Shopper Marketing Manager is a key member of the EH Customer Marketing Team and will work across EH’s Air Care and Household portfolio of brands.  The position will require direct interaction with EH Marketing Directors, Trade Marketing Team Leaders, Senior Managers and Executives and other strategic external partners to develop strong business alignment, programming and relationships as related to the Shopper Marketing function.  He/She will work with all EH internal functions to ensure Shopper Marketing programming meets stakeholders’ needs and delivers upon brand, category and sales objectives.  The Manager also will own the shopper marketing relationship with key sales teams/ retailers as it relates to planning, strategy, activation and evaluation. 

Your responsibilities

  • Own the strategic vision, program development and execution of shopper plans to deliver business goals/achieve KPIs across the shopper journey.
  • Develop insight-driven shopper strategy, activation and communication by utilizing shopper insights and retailer data (i.e. Luminate, 84.51) to create messaging that resonates with a retailer’s shopper and drive conversion at point-of-purchase. 
  • Lead shopper marketing efforts in commercial planning process to ensure timely delivery of strategies/plans and ensure linkage to annual planning process. 
  • Identify and drive opportunities with sales teams by understanding strategies and establishing objectives, key performance indicators and business solutions which deliver results.
  • Lead management of agencies and vendors that includes briefing the shopper marketing agency, evaluating strategy and creative, communication across key stakeholders. Manages a shopper marketing budget, with responsibility for both working and non-working dollars.
  • Spearhead development and share out of program measurement, evaluation, and analysis. Demonstrate the ability to optimize future programs to deliver the best return. Test & learn mentality to evaluate shopper tactics/program activation elements.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 5-7 years of sales/marketing experience within CPG industry with at least 3 years in brand/customer/trade/shopper marketing
  • Prior experience working directly with retailers preferred
  • Prior agency management experience
  • Prior analytics/insights experience with ability to synthesize and make strategic recommendations 
  • Prior project management experience – executing a project from start to finish

US salary ranges

USD $138,000.00 -  $208,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
