About the role

The IBP Supply Controller is responsible for the financial management, reporting, and strategic planning of key supply chain cost areas, including inventory, slow-moving provisions, embellishment facilities (bundle pack production lines in the warehouses), and external manufacturing/copackers. This role oversees P&L and Balance Sheet for these areas, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The IBP Supply Controller partners closely with commercial finance, operations, and supply planning teams to drive business performance and support internal and external audits.



 

Your responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Oversee financial management of inventory, slow mover provisions, embellishment facilities, and external manufacturing/copackers.
• Own P&L and balance sheet management for assigned COGS lines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights on cost drivers and variances.
• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper cost allocation and financial controls.

Forecasting & Planning:
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts for inventory, embellishment facilities, and external manufacturing.
• Collaborate with commercial finance, operations, and planning teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Monitor financial risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Support the annual budget and strategic planning processes for assigned cost areas.

Business Partnering & Decision Support:
• Act as the key finance partner for operations, supply planning, and commercial teams.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Lead discussions on business implications and action plans related to financial performance.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities.

Audit & Compliance:
• Support internal and external audits related to COGS financials, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to financial policies.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with corporate accounting standards.
• Address auditor requests and work cross-functionally to implement audit recommendations.

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/MBA is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), supply finance, or related areas.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in cost accounting, COGS management, and balance sheet/P&L oversight.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities

US salary ranges

USD $135,000.00 -  $203,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
