Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

The Essential Home Team has the purpose to “make your house a home!”  We will be nimble, and action-oriented team as we attack opportunities to expand organically and inorganically.  Our team members will own their business, spot opportunities to innovate and scale, be focused on what matters, move boldly at pace, actively listen and learn, and speak directly.  We will embrace the founder mindset to drive accelerated growth.  The Trade Marketing Manager will have a leadership role in trade strategy development and implementation for Homecare brands across key channel, as well as driving growth strategies for key Customers across the company’s biggest Brand. Incumbent will conduct & lead analysts, work closely with Insights & Analytics team to deliver Shopper Insights, monitor customer 4Ps, plan & execute innovation launches and spearhead Sales planning.  This leader will be a significant contributor to cross-functional workstreams that combine a growth driven organization with a customer first mindset.  Homecare brands include:  CALGON, Resolve, d-Con, WOOLITE, BRASSO, SPRAY `N WASH, Easy Off, LIME-A-WAY, GLASS PLUS, OLD ENGLISH, MOP & GLO, RID-X

Your responsibilities

•    Develop & understand Global and Local Category best practices and ensure transfer of knowledge to Sales for implementation.  Contribute to feedback and recommendations to Global counterparts in Trade/Brand/Sales 
•    Lead annual category 4Ps planning and review process by understanding business objectives and translating them into a channel 4Ps Local Success Model for Sales execution.  
•    Identify research gaps and provide input in research design/implementation. Understand and drive development of Consumer and Channel/Customer insights through research. Use data gathered through research/analysis to develop category 4Ps strategy for Customer implementation.  
•    Champion new product market entry and execution. Includes managing the development of sales presentation/materials and managing tracking/analyzing the 4Ps in-market implementation.
•    Align with Customer Marketing partners across Shopper Marketing & Commercial Planning/Excellence, as well as key cross functional partners in Brand Marketing, Connected Planning, & Category Finance to deliver Net Revenue Growth plans and market share gains. 
•    Continuous analysis of customer position, creation of “Go To Market” strategy and deployment / briefing to National Account Managers to implement. 
•    Conducts intensive Financial Modeling to support decision process e.g. Assortment, Promotion, Pricing
•    Lead innovation deck and line review deck creation with the National Account Manager and present out to ensure best in class results

The experience we're looking for

•    A Founder’s Mentality
•    4-year college degree preferred or equivalent management experience
•    5-10 years Sales and/or Marketing & cross functional collaboration and leadership experience
•    Strong commercial acumen, and understanding of the levers of managing a P&L
•    Excellent understanding of customer 4P’s and aligning customer strategies with brand initiatives for sustainable growth
•    Strength in agility and balancing prioritization in a fast-paced environment
•    Excellent analytical skills with Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI, Spectra, Panel Data, A&Us)
•    Strong oral/written communication, and presentation skills with experience in forums with Sr. level management and stakeholders
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Ability to travel for key customer meetings and/or internal conferences

US salary ranges

USD $138,000.00 -  $208,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
