About the role

As the Shared Service Manager at Reckitt, you're not just overseeing operations; you're crafting the heartbeat of our everyday excellence. Your responsibilities

 

  • Lead payroll operations across key European markets, establishing a collaborative culture aligned with Reckitt’s principles. Ensure accurate and compliant multi-country payroll delivery in partnership with major vendors.
  • Maintain strict adherence to legal, financial, and regulatory standards across the EU. Serve as the single point of contact for all payroll-related matters, aligning regional processes with global payroll standards.
  • Oversee error prevention and correction, report financial impacts, and implement long-term control measures. Collaborate with vendors to optimize operations, manage costs, and uphold service quality.
  • Drive initiatives such as audits, productivity improvements, and team development to ensure strong succession planning. Partner with HRSSC and Finance to support efficient delivery.
  • Lead governance meetings with stakeholders, report on KPIs and risks, and enhance confidence in payroll performance. Promote best practices, performance management, and business continuity.
  • Support broader transformation projects, offering strategic insights to streamline payroll processes and boost organizational alignment.

 

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role in EU with multiple language capabilities
  • Proven managerial skills with respect to payroll delivery
  • Adept at Change Management and Communications
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Minimum 15 - 18 years of experience in payroll profile
  • Knowledge of one or more of the Payroll application systems preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for acquiring new technical skills in data reporting
  • Ability to communicate with all Global stakeholders in English
