Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.
Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
Step into the role of Key Account Manager at Reckitt, where your mastery of relationship-building and strategic partnering with major national trade players will be fundamental in delivering health, hygiene, and nutrition products to consumers. In this dynamic position, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and realising joint business plans, balancing customer success with our own growth. Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for 4p's strategy implementation, with special focus on recomended assortment, reco promotions, reco planogram and KPI's in stores (distribution, flyer and secondary placement share, promotion location, shelf share and quality
- Responsible for achieving strategic objectives per customer: Market Shares, NR,COP, Gross Margin, NWC
- Building long term partnership with the customer
- Manage completely trade spending: contract trade terms and promotional investments
- Managing customer negotiations in relation to RB commercial strategy customer trading terms
- Implementation and ongoing management of the category strategy per customer; drive and support customer&shopper marketing collegues
- Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities, profitability and improvement of categories
- Preparation of Sales forecast (short term)
- Drive forecast accuracy (KPI)
- Analyzing key data: market shares turnover, listing, promotional plans, placement targets, ROI on Trade Investment
- Day to day activities managment
The experience we're looking for
- FMCG experience in Trade Marketing/ Marketing/ Sales and Key Account Management
- Educated to minimum bachelors degree level ideally in a business related subject – from a recognised University
- Highly analytical and numerate
- Experience of influencing and engaging senior management in own and customer organisations.
- Leader, Advanced Strategic Thinker, Smart, Driver, with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
- Leadership and interpersonal skills capable to contact Lead Buyers
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
- Fluency in English is essential
- Strong sense of urgency and achievement
