About the role

We're in search of  QC Analyst to join the Reckitt team, where innovation and science converge to make a real-world impact. You'll contribute to the growth of our trusted product portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Perform all activities related to physical-chemical testing and ensuring compliance within the quality control laboratory by ensuring quality, safety and efficacy of all items analysed, as well as compliance with related legislation, good laboratory practices (GLP), good manufacturing practices, good documentation practices (GDP) and company guidelines. Your responsibilities

  • Participate in internal assessments and audits required
  • Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments
  • Write or revise standard quality control procedures
  • Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions
  • Participate in out of specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols
  • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in process materials, raw materials, bulk material, or stability samples & do daily verification of balances, pH meter and conductivity meter.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Respond to inspections when necessary (ISO, SAHPRA, Global Audits RB, etc);
  • Operate all analytical equipment’s in the laboratory such as Polarimeter, Ph/conductivity meter, balances, HPLC, GC, Lovibond, UV Spectrophotometer, IR spectrophotometer, auto titrator, etc.
  • May be required to work shift patterns

 

The experience we're looking for

-BSc Degree / Diploma / Technical certificate Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or Analitical chemistry.
- 3-4 years expirience in FMCG 
- 2 years expirience in HPLC & GC 

- Strong project management experiences with demonstrable problem-solving skills.
- Independent and self-starting with the resilience needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate others, showing strong interpersonal competence and team commitment.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to propose improvements and challenge the status quo for better results.
- Adaptable and collaborative nature, prepared to take accountability for a broad range of activities.
