As an R&D Fragrance Associate/Specialist your expertise in fragrance evaluation and consumer science will shape the future of our beloved hygiene products at Reckitt Core. Your responsibilities
- Lead the development of innovative fragrances for global and regional brand initiatives;
- Provide olfactive and technical input to ensure high-quality fragrance solutions;
- Assist in evaluating and refining fragrance formulations throughout development stages;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align on fragrance goals;
- Contribute to the end-to-end process of fragrance creation—from concept to launch and post-launch maintenance;
- Work alongside the Fragrance Development Leaders to deliver consumer-preferred fragrance experiences;
- Drive early-stage innovation by identifying emerging trends and unmet consumer needs.
The experience we're looking for
• Bachelors degree in a relevant scientific discipline with solid experience in fragrance development and application in a FMCG environment;
• 2 years + of proven Project Management experience within a cross-functional, international and multi-cultural environment;
• 2+ years fragrance evaluation experience with above average olfactive acuity;
• Expertise in development and validation of new fragrance technologies, including new product development;
• Strong technical problem solving skills, with technical R&D product development experience;
• Strong presentation and communication skills;
• Experience consumer understanding and sensory testing;
• Portfolio fragrance management experience;
• Experience in external vendor management.
