About the role
We are looking for a Quality Control Analyst II to support our commitment to product quality and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and regulatory standards. You will also analyze test results, conduct peer reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires expertise in analytical techniques, method validation, troubleshooting, and GMP compliance to maintain the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities
- Perform testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using validated methods.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ICPMS instrument to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Analyze test data, document findings, and generate detailed quality reports.
- Support investigations of out-of-specification and out-of-trend results and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Identify and resolve quality issues, working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and regulatory standards by following SOPs and QC procedures.
- Participate in method transfers, method validation, and process improvements to enhance QC efficiency.
- Train and mentor new analysts on QC procedures, equipment operation, and data analysis.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in a regulated environment.
- Practical, hands‑on experience with ICP‑MS is required; experience with HPLC or GC is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques, method validation, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GMP, FDA, EP, and USP guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
