About the role
The role of the Regional Quality Auditor within the Global Supply Chain Quality Team is to perform GMP Compliance Audits of existing and External Manufacturing Organizations, Suppliers and Reckitt Corporate audits in North America. The role will conduct follow-up actions in order to drive improvement and compliance with Reckitt standards. The audit team ensures the safety and quality compliance of suppliers who provide Reckitt with materials or products sourced from this region.
Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, Corporate Audit and Vendor Management -US, the primary scope of the role is:
- Act as a lead auditor to plan, arrange and complete new external manufacturing organisation audits, new supplier audits, routine compliance verification audits and Reckitt corporate audits and follows up audit actions to completion.
- Ensure all audits ensure compliance with Reckitt guidelines to minimise risk to consumers, company and brand.
- Write technical summaries and audit reports and issues reports within 28 days.
- Recommend approval (or rejection) of new suppliers and EMO’s.
- Escalate any non-standard issues through supplier QMS failures to the Quality Director – Corporate Audit and Vendor Management-EM and regional procurement leaders as necessary and ensure they are managed and communicated through the CEP process where appropriate.
- Propose quality improvements and training where required to suppliers and or EMO’s to improve vendor performance.
- Work closely with appropriate teams to collaborate on any strategic supplier initiatives as a result of site non-conformances.
- Work with the Global Supplier Compliance team to support the maintenance of the ongoing supplier / EMO/ Corporate audit assessment and re-approval programme based on risk.
- Support the broader audit network for NA to ensure the area audit plan is delivered

Key Challenges

- Ensuring Reckitt materials and services are sourced from approved suppliers who remain safe and compliant with applicable regulations, understanding the different quality standards across the different BU’s becoming a truly BU agnostic function within the region.
- Working suppliers in North America
- Understanding different quality and regulatory requirements for the different portfolio of materials procured (API’s, Packaging, Reckitt Products)
- Working with cross functional teams to approve new and BCP suppliers/ EMO’s.
- Skills and experience of Suppliers, EMO and corporate audits.

The experience we're looking for
- Available to undertake local travel as required.
- Broad understanding of quality management systems such as ICHQ7, EU GMP, ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO17025, and specifics relating to supplier management.
- Strong leadership, partnership, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience communicating to a diverse audience, at multiple layers within and outside the company.
- A continuous improvement mindset and ability to facilitate change.
- Excellent risk management skills to identify and site, supplier and EMO risks to the business, developing strategies and executing action plans to resolve critical issues.

- Preferred to be able to train and coach other auditors
- Experienced auditor (lead auditor qualification required)
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline is desirable, suitable experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Quality organisation within a Health or Nutrition environment
- Broad understanding of site quality operations including raw materials and packaging material manufacturing and control.
- Thorough knowledge on the regulatory requirements, rules and guidance covering the manufacture of pharmaceutical products in the geography of the role location.

US salary ranges
USD $90,000.00 - $136,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
