Senior Controls Manager

Description

A vital source of technical expertise, you'll lead the team that keeps our operations up and running. You'll:

• Support site engineering and future plant projects.
• Plan maintenance and improvement activities
• Build, develop and inspire a team with a culture of continuous improvement
• Find new ways to improve service, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications: 

BA/BS degree in engineering or related discipline (BSEE degree preferred).

7+ yrs. related experience in lieu of university degree, or 5+ yrs. related experience plus a technical degree/certification will be considered.

3+ years of management experience.

2+ years of experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry or with powder processing.

Experience with design/drafting tools AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks and/or Revit.

Proficient with PLC/HMI devices (e.g. AB, Siemens, Panasonic, Mitsubishi…).

Familiar with Industry Standards UL, CE, NEC, ISO.

Familiar with Vision Systems (e.g. Cognex, Keyence…).

Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators, Servos/VFDs (e.g. AB, Yaskawa, Eaton, Emerson, Siemens…).

Experience and skill in configuring, programming, installing, testing and troubleshooting automation control systems.

Desired experience with robot programming (e.g. ABB, Fanuc, Kuka…);

Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines; Lead/coordinate projects and tasks and provide timely and detailed project status updates.

Familiar with CMMS programs and their use.

Knowledge of 5S Systems, GMP and FDA/NSF Regulations.

MS Office 2010 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and advanced computer literacy.
