About the role
This position supports analytical testing and project execution for vitamin and supplement (VMS) product development. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, method validation, and coordination with both internal teams and external manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate is scientifically curious, eager to learn, and able to take ownership of their projects while collaborating across functions.
This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.
Your responsibilities
- Assist in daily laboratory activities, including sample preparation and analysis.
- Perform analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, titrations, and wet chemistry.
- Support method development, validation, and transfer to Quality Control (QC) labs.
- Coordinate analytical activities for both internal and external manufacturing projects.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Use Laboratory Information Management System to organize lab work (LIMS).
- Enter and review analytical results, including data from third-party laboratories.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports throughout the product development process.
- Follow all laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory procedures in compliance with FDA and internal standards.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field, with at least one year of laboratory experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and techniques; experience with HPLC and GC is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with LIMS is a plus.
- Knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, or 21 CFR Part 111 is a bonus but not required.
- Demonstrated scientific curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow.
