About the role
The ASEAN T&A Payroll Testing Lead will lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities for the integration between the Time & Attendance (T&A) solution and payroll across the agreed ASEAN scope. Based in Bangplee, Thailand, this role will focus on ensuring that time, attendance, shift, overtime, leave, and other relevant workforce data are accurately processed and reflected in payroll outcomes.
Working closely with HR, Payroll, Supply/site teams, IT, project teams, and system partners/vendors, you will drive testing preparation, execution, defect resolution, reconciliation, and sign-off readiness to support a successful implementation.
This is a 1-year fixed-term contract role, providing dedicated payroll testing leadership and execution support throughout the T&A deployment.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end payroll testing for the T&A implementation across the agreed ASEAN scope.
- Develop detailed testing plans, scenarios, scripts, timelines, entry/exit criteria, and testing documentation.
- Define test scenarios covering working hours, shift patterns, overtime, allowances, leave, absences, holidays, and other relevant T&A inputs affecting payroll.
- Coordinate test data preparation and validate the completeness and accuracy of T&A data used for payroll testing.
- Execute and/or coordinate system integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), payroll parallel testing, and regression testing as required.
- Perform detailed reconciliation between T&A outputs and payroll results, identifying variances and driving resolution.
- Track, document, prioritize, and follow up on testing defects and issues through to closure.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, IT, and system vendors to investigate root causes and validate fixes.
- Coordinate testing activities across countries/sites and ensure local payroll requirements are adequately covered.
- Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and readiness, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Support go-live readiness and post-go-live validation to ensure payroll accuracy and operational stability.
The experience we're looking for
- Strong experience in payroll operations, payroll systems, Time & Attendance, HR technology, or related implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience in payroll testing, reconciliation, UAT, parallel payroll runs, or system integration testing.
- Good understanding of how T&A data impacts payroll calculations and processing.
- Experience working with shift-based workforces, ideally within manufacturing, Supply, or similar operational environments.
- Experience identifying and resolving payroll/system variances and testing defects.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders, countries, sites, and/or system vendors would be advantageous.
