About the role

The Digitalization Manager plays a key strategic role in leading the factory’s digital transformation journey. This person is responsible for shaping and executing the site’s digital roadmap, with a strong focus on building and improving digital tools that make data collection more efficient, enable deeper analysis, and boost overall production performance.

In this role, you connect operational requirements with technical solutions, ensuring that digital initiatives truly support day-to-day manufacturing needs. You also ensure that all digital systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with the factory’s long-term strategy and budget commitments.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Budget Management
    • Define and lead the overall Digitalization Roadmap for the manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with global corporate strategies.
    • Formulate and manage the annual budget for digitalization projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI tracking.
    • Oversee the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering and conceptual design to implementation and scaling.
  • Tool Development & Data Analytics (Power BI Focus)
    • Design, develop, and maintain advanced digital tools and dashboards, primarily leveraging Power BI, to drive real-time visibility into manufacturing KPIs.
    • Translate complex manufacturing requirements into scalable digital solutions that facilitate cost optimization and waste reduction.
    • Ensure the "visibility of truth" by automating data collection to expose daily production issues promptly.
  • System Stability & Cybersecurity
    • Guarantee the high availability and technical stability of all deployed digital tools within the manufacturing environment.
    • Establish and enforce cybersecurity protocols for all manufacturing-led digital applications to protect intellectual property and operational integrity.
    • Regularly audit tool performance and security to prevent downtime or data breaches.
  • Capability Building & Digital Culture
    • Develop and lead internal capability-building programs to upskill the factory workforce in digital applications and data-driven decision-making.
    • Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of innovation and digital literacy across all production departments.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
    • Partner closely with internal customers (Production, Quality, Logistics) to understand pain points and deliver tailored digital support.
    • Communicate project progress and technical roadmaps effectively to the Manufacturing Excellence Manager and senior site leadership.

The experience we're looking for

  • Manufacturing Background: Solid experience in a manufacturing environment (5+ years preferred), with a deep understanding of production processes, workflows, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Power BI Expert: Professional-grade skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query) are mandatory. Experience with SQL or other data management tools is highly valued.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.

  • Work related certificate requirements:
    • TPM / Lean manufacturing is preferred.
