About the role

As the Maintenance Manager for Healthcare Operations at the Bangplee site, you will be responsible for all production maintenance activities. You will lead a multi-disciplinary maintenance team to deliver key performance indicators that support the Supply function in meeting customer service, quality, and cost targets.
You will also ensure that the Maintenance team embraces the Reckitt culture and consistently demonstrates its core values in day-to-day operations.
This role involves making sure that all plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standards, ensuring safe, reliable performance in line with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). At the same time, you will drive continuous improvement in plant performance and systems to support the ongoing development of manufacturing facilities and contribute to overall supply objectives.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate resources, assets, and time are allocated to implement a structured and systematic approach to engineering maintenance, using performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and achieve targets.
  • Maintain all plant and equipment to required standards, ensuring safe, reliable operation in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
  • Monitor plant reliability and performance, proactively identifying issues and opportunities, and implement effective improvement plans.
  • Foster clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization to support alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance management systems, processes, and procedures to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and ensure the effectiveness of daily maintenance reviews, driving accountability and timely issue resolution.
  • Standardize maintenance practices across the site and shifts to ensure consistency and best practice application.
  • Define and manage the annual maintenance budget in collaboration with the Site Engineering Manager, ensuring cost control and optimal resource utilization.
  • Evaluate the need for external expertise and manage third-party support to ensure cost-effective and high-quality delivery.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with at least 10 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FMCG environment, preferably within a high-care setting such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, or food manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing engineering or maintenance teams.
  • Strong technical engineering background with broad knowledge across maintenance disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and quality standards, including cGMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply structured problem-solving techniques to address technical challenges effectively.

The skills for success

  • Strong technical expertise in machine maintenance, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance systems, including CMMS, asset management, reliability engineering, and maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in IT tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and planning software; experience with CMMS systems is an advantage.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
