About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Master Production Schedule to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining a constrained Master Production Schedule (MPS) that meets customer requirements and supports business objectives. You will work closely with operations to ensure production output aligns with targets and manage semi-finished goods (SFG) and finished goods (FG) inventory levels effectively.
Your responsibilities
- Consolidate customer requirements and prepare production schedules based on available capacity.
- Review demand changes and adjust plans to maintain service levels.
- Prepare and review daily production output and inventory reports.
- Establish an 8-week Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with customer requirements.
- Lead weekly production meetings and manage activities impacting run plans and capacity.
- Prepare weekly OFR reports and collaborate with Operations to address root causes of missed targets.
- Develop monthly firm production volumes aligned with plant targets.
- Analyze manufacturing and packing requirements and resolve operational issues.
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth execution of production plans and achievement of weekly targets.
- Monitor NPD, phase-in/phase-out, and discontinued SKUs to minimize write-offs.
- Escalate issues requiring decisions related to production planning.
- Minimize SFG and FG stock levels and monitor SFG shelf life to prevent expiry.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to handle complex issues.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP), RR PT, and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, including planning and inventory control.
- Ability to influence process improvements and collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Skilled in using data analytics to improve processes and productivity.
- Excellent communication skills and strong English proficiency (written and spoken).
