About the role
We're in search of a proactive R&D Microbiology Assistant to join the Reckitt team, where innovation and science converge to make a real-world impact. Your responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing to support R&D Category IW Development and other R&D functions as applicable.
- Compiling and reporting results to R&D IW Category Development and other R&D functions.
- Consolidate data and information, communicate internal and external of R&D microbiology organization e.g. communicate with R&D Category Product Development and Supply and QC microbiology on item that is related to R&D microbiology lab.
- Test and operate following Reckitt’s Test Method and SOP.
- Secure test sample until completion of the test and retain the test report and related record as per SOP for archiving the data.
- Monitor, maintain, good condition of the test equipment and environment to ensure aseptic technique and of no cross contamination or add any risk to the test process.
- Support LIMS implementation as assigned by the supervisor.
- Assist in Research & Development work as part product development project related to microorganisms (if any).
- Perform other related jobs that are assigned by the supervisor.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor of Science in microbiology or related field.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with competing demands from different R&D categories.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop new ideas.
- Good Command in English both written and oral.
- MS office skills (Word, Excel,) at basic level.
