About the role

This role is to provide ongoing R&D support to the Reckittportfolio of medicinal or medical device or cosmetic or general products. Scope R&D support to a designated range of Reckitt products, enabling defence, revenue growth and compliance of the brands. To interface with key partners and stakeholders (Supply, Regulatory, Local and Global marketing, R&D Category) on a daily basis. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently within a multi disciplinaryproject team. Strong technical and problem solving skills are an essential requirement of the role as is an ability totake ownership of key aspects of the project Theoretical and practical functional expertise in the technology and standards for medicinal or medical devices or related products would be highly beneficial. Experience of product development, design control (only medical devices), risk management and working on regulated products such as medicinal or medical devicesor cosmetic or general products are essential. The position will be based in Bangplee reporting into a R&D PDMSenior Associateor R&D PDM Associate. The role will be to provide technical and documentation support to the current maintenance and development projects on Reckitt portfolio working independently to represent the R&D PDM department as part of a cross functional team. An essential requirement of the role as is an ability to take ownershipof key aspects of the project.

Your responsibilities

General -Project Assignment Role:

Ensure all technical aspects of the product development, maintenanceare carried out as per the agreed timings, with any issues or risks clearly highlighted to line manager in a timely manner.
Liaise with the cross functional internal and external team to ensure technical milestones are met. Responsible to lead the project for projects, ensuring that these are executed to the standards required for registered products.
Ensure all relevant product specifications and internal documentation is in place and fully approved prior to full production start-up.
All assigned development activity must conform to legislative, health & safety and environmentalrequirements.
Assure all document for material change or qualification meeting HALAL regulation requirement.
Support to R&D laboratoryand stabilitymanagement in order to comply with therequirements including maintenance activities, audit preparations, etc.
Support line manager in measuring and reporting KPIs to senior management. Responsible for ensuring all required formulation, feasibility work, validation, stability testing, industrial trials, claim support and dossier preparation are performed on time and to the required standards.
Responsible for the compilation, approval and circulation of technical reports throughout the productdevelopment process.

General -Analytical assignment Role:

Respond to deliver the analytical work to beon timeand meet the compliance requirement.
Supervise analysts day to day work.
Responsible and supervise for analytical problem solving in order to support stability testing, industrial trial and method validation.
All assigned development activity must conform to legislative, health & safety and environmentalrequirements.
Assure all document for material change or qualification meeting HALAL regulation requirement.
Support lab team management in order to comply with the requirements including maintenance activities, audit preparations, etc. Support line manager in measuring and reporting KPIs to senior management.

Quality:

Be aware, accountable and follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) rules & regulations.
Enforce quality mind by ‘Right first time’ practice for working in area by following documented procedure & follow good documentation practice.

Safety, Health & Environment:

Be accountable for safety, health & environment in the workplace at all times to ensure accident free & good environment area of working.
Follow safety, health & environment regulations & policy by working safety, reporting unsafe condition / unsafe act/ near miss accident to supervisor as well as suggest for any improvement.

For the appointed Halal management committee role description are shown as below:

Assure and develop system for halal material assessment and get approved by LPPOM MUI for product development.
Assure and develop system for material change project comply to halal regulation requirement.
Educate R&D team members to understand Halal requirement per HAS23000 standard.
Support other R&D members as consultant for Halal RM assessment process including document requirement.
Communicate withHalal committee in formulation and new product development.
Deliver internal halal training to all internal department members.

The experience we're looking for

Educated to Degree level (Chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or other relevant scientific discipline).
The minimum 1 year of relevant experience will be more preferable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and solve technical problems.
Experience of working in a healthcare/OTC (or medical device) environment is desirable.
Experience of prioritization and problem solving.
Knowledge of basic cGMP, GLP or HALALrequirement.
Relevant experience within product development role within FMCG environment.
