About the role

Provide financial support to the Commercial and Marketing areas, ensuring efficient management, proper control, and timely analysis of expenses, provisions, and business results. This role aims to guarantee the integrity of financial information, the accuracy of reports, and informed decision-making through analysis, presentations, and continuous support to cross‑functional teams. It also seeks to keep the organization’s economic activities up to date, ensuring compliance with internal controls, standards, and policies established by Reckitt – MJN.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. plan/forecast) and communicate the main performance drivers within the Marketing Cost lines.
  • Create and manage WBS increases required for Marketing investments.
  • Reconcile provision and prepaid accounts, ensuring they comply with established policies.
  • Responsible for recording the amortization of media pre-purchases (DR).
  • Prepare, manage, and upload the Forecast and Plan workbooks each quarter. Process budget uploads and ensure they are aligned with the established targets.
  • Verify and validate debit notes uploaded to SharePoint related to the CAM market.
  • Provide support and follow-up with the necessary information for the reception of NPS related to Marketing investment concepts.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing all required documentation for the samples selected by auditors.
  • Train and support users on any topic related to Commercial and Marketing investments. Participate in Marketing and Finance meetings to serve as the communication channel between both areas.
  • Record CARCA journal entries: provisions, reclassifications, reversals, amortizations, FX adjustments.
  • Participate in Balance Sheet meetings and explain required variances in accounts related to Marketing investments (Balance & Prepaid).
  • Review supporting documentation for provisions in accordance with the company’s internal control policies.
  • Prepare distributor claim notes for the Caribbean, manage approval requests, and communicate with customers to apply the corresponding credit, while maintaining strict control of provision balances and reconciled account statements.

The experience we're looking for

  • Finance, accounting, or business administration background.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Proven proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Office, accounting systems – SAP, Power BI (not mandatory).
