About the role
As part of the Global Packaging Team, this role is responsible for the procurement strategy of Adhesives, Pallets, Wicks, Tins. This position oversees a total spend of €36M. Main responsibility is the development and execution of category, sourcing and supplier management strategies to achieve competitive advantage through lowest purchase cost and value improvements.
Your responsibilities
The person will support activities related to tenders, Price compliance and specific strategic projects for the portfolio in Europe, including:
- Develop and execute the optimal strategy that delivers business objectives.
- Deliver results in key performance areas: cost management, contractual coverage, financial forecast, NWC, service and quality, process improvements and innovation.
- Have full financial accountability for the factories responsible: Plan, Forecast, PPV, NWC.
- Optimise sourcing and maintenance of categories across the sites.
- Manage and develop strategic suppliers & stakeholders relationships.
- Develop Commodity Risk Management strategy aligned with key stakeholders.
- Implement sustainability strategy.
- Be an active player within the global team.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor/master’s degree in business, science/engineering, supply chain or equivalent.
- 2+ years of Procurement or Supply experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Proven track record in handling complex portfolios.
- Previous experience in direct procurement is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within Europe.
- Fluent oral and written English.
