About the role

This role is based in Reckitt’s Supply – Manufacturing vertical and plays a key role in sc aling
manufacturing execution system across Reckitt ’s surface cleaning / household care factory
operations through collaboration with but not limited to engineering, quality, regulatory , R&D , 
manufacturing and IT stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities

• Builds MES strategy and defines features in line with operational goals and compliance 
standards .
• Owns the MES product vision, strategy, and roadmap to manufacturing, quality, and
broader supply chain teams .
• Ensure s MES scalability , dee p inte gration with but not limited to ERP, PLM, and shop -floor 
systems and regulatory compliance.
• Develop business cases for investment , publishe s and tracks value realization .
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for MES projects.
• Monitor MES performance and user adoption, driving continuous improvement.
• Engage with vendors and m onitor industry trends for solution upgrades to enhance MES 
capabilities .

The experience we're looking for

  • Drive the MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) strategy and lifecycle management across manufacturing operations, including deployment, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors, including Aveva MES, to deliver scalable and compliant digital manufacturing solutions.
  • Leverage production data, KPIs, and analytics to support operational excellence, process optimization, and strategic decision-making.
  • Support Industry 4.0 initiatives by implementing and enhancing solutions related to IoT, AI, and cloud-based manufacturing technologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve efficiency in high-speed batch processing and packaging environments.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and quality standards while driving problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes

The skills for success

  • Strong expertise in MES strategy, deployment, and lifecycle management within manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with Aveva MES and collaborating with external technology vendors and stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate production data and KPIs into actionable business insights.
  • Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and cloud-based manufacturing solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Experience in high-speed batch processing and packaging operations, ideally within FMCG, CPG, or chemicals manufacturing environments.
