About the role
As the IT&D Senior Manager, Procurement, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of procurement technology solutions for Essential Home. The role offers a unique opportunity to establish a procurement function from the ground up, creating solutions and roadmaps that will drive scalability and enable Essential Home’s business strategy.
You will oversee the design, maintenance, and operation of IT systems within the procurement domain, ensuring security, resilience, and scalability. With strong focus on bridging the gap between IT, procurement, supply chain, and finance driving innovation, streamline processes.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can drive this function end-to-end, from vision and strategy to implementation and governance. You thrive in a dynamic environment; you are pragmatic, love a challenge and and are action and result oriented.
Your responsibilities
- Define the long term strategic needs for procurement for the Essential Home business
- Develop and execute the IT roadmap for procurement systems, ensuring alignment with business goasl.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of procurement solutions, ensuring their availability, security, scalability, and performance.
- Lead technology transformation iniatitives, including SAP based modules/solutions
- Act as a strategic IT&D partner for procurement leadership, translating business needs into IT solutions.
- Develop and implement a governance framework for procurement to ensure compliance with data security, and regulatory requirements.
- Define and track KPIs for procurement technology performance and user adoptions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing source-to-pay (S2P) and procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.
- Support cost reduction, spend visibility, and risk mitigation through IT-driven procurement solution.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of both internal and external talent, fostering a culture of agility, ownership and collaboration.
- Provide mentorship, performance management, and skills development opportunities for team members.
- Build excellent relationships with strategic partners and service providers to ensure co-investment, high quality service, while staying cost-effective.
- Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for procurement technology and services.

- Strong expertise in SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar procurement platforms.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API integrations for procurement automation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
