About the role
The Senior Procurement Finance Manager will oversee the financial aspects of the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions, budget adherence, and financial compliance. This role involves close collaboration with the procurement team, supply finance, and internal stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies and drive financial performance
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll:
• Financial Oversight: Manage and monitor the financial performance of procurement activities, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals and financial policies. Leading month end reporting for Procurement Operations in Europe and North America.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis and financial modelling to support procurement decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Budget Management: Lead the Procurement Planning and forecasting process working closely with Procurement Leadership teams to develop, manage, and track procurement budgets, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits.
• Supplier Management: Support Procurement Excellence teams to ensure Supplier Management KPIs are monitored and develop clear action plans to execute Procurement Strategies.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with procurement activities via Commodity Risk Counsels, FX hedging and evaluate fixed price negotiations with Leadership teams.
• Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with financial regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and financial performance. Support in the transformation journey of Procurement Analytics and process improvements in Anaplan.
The experience we're looking for
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term financial planning.
• Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
